Localization Lab Launches Successful "Getting Started" Training Series

We're excited to share the fantastic results of our first-ever Community Training Series: "Getting Started with Localization." This series was designed to empower our amazing volunteer contributors, both new and experienced, with valuable skills and knowledge to navigate the world of translation and review.

What We Covered

The series spanned three sessions, held from February to April 2024:

  • Best Practices in Translation (February): Led by our Program Associate for  Localization, Adriano Gomes, this session covered essential tips and tricks for creating high-quality translations.

  • Translation Strategies (March): In our second session, Adriano was joined by another member of the Localization Management team, Maja Manojlović. They delved into different approaches to tackling translation challenges, helping participants make informed choices for the projects they are working on.

  • Glossary Management (April): Maja wrapped up the series by exploring the importance of glossaries in maintaining consistency and accuracy.
